"Silhouettes of Summertime"

The fields dance as they turn to gold
Hues of warmth bid the sun farewell
And give way to a pinhole-dotted canvas
Crickets buzz beneath the brush
And the earth shuts its eyes.

Dear summer nights, please come soon!

    Amazing words - you're making me crave summer more! Summer sunsets are definitely one of my favorite things about the season.       No, I didn't. The photo in this post is actually from last summer so my hair may have looked a bit lighter from all the sunshine. :)
