Soundtrack For May '15

 photo may_Soundtrack_zpstc1dsbit.png

I've compiled a short playlist of some of my favorite tunes lately. A year from now, perhaps even a short few months, when I listen to these songs again I will be flooded with nostalgia of this season of life. That's one of the things about music that enthralls me so much -- songs can hold your memories inside them.

What songs are you storing memories in this month?

  1. I'll have to listen to these songs! I'm always flooded with nostalgia when I hear Another's Arms by Coldplay, that song holds so many good memories for me.

  8. "when I listen to these songs again I will be flooded with nostalgia of this season of life." < Exactly what I look for in new music! I love making playlists for particular stories and listening to those songs to get myself into the feel and mood of the book. <3 Thank you for this playlist! I'm totally going to try it out.

  9. that's the interesting thing about a little arrangement of notes, how they can bring on such a wave of memories.
for me it will probably be 'aint gonna lay my hammer down' by Blue Highway and 'happy lessons' by the Vespers. thanks for sharing...wonderful list.

  12. Ah Simon and Garfunkel. I don't know if I've heard America before. This month "Honey I'm Good" (Andy Grammer) is my memory book. I was in Italy with some friends, and they kept getting it stuck in their heads and singing it. Now it will always remind my of my trip to Italy!
