Top / H&M
Jeans / Old Navy (old)
Boots / ASOS
Bike / Beach Bikes

Woah! It's been a little while. I hope you're all doing well! I've been trying to make a point to create more lately. I've shared some new videos on my youtube (like my short film and a long overdue q&a) and have been shooting lots for my instagram! It feels so good to make art and it inspires me to keep creating and growing.

ALSO. Those blossoms. Seriously. This time of year is ridiculously beautiful and I'm kind of in love. It's an incredible reminder to me that Jesus is constantly making all things new and bringing beauty in places that used to be dead and broken. Wow.

What have you all been up to?! I want to know!
Have a wonderful day!

This dress from eShakti magically transported me into the world of Pride & Prejudice and fairy tales the moment I put it on. I'm pretty nearly positive that it is what dreams are made of. And I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the golden peach embroidery design was made by fairies with their silkworm friends at sunset...

I highly recommend eShakti - their custom sizing will guarantee a new favorite dress in your wardrobe, and there is something special and exciting about having a dress made just for you! I have my eye on this, this, & this... Ah, so dreamy! If your are interested in following along this excellent shop, visit their Facebook, Pinterest, & Instagram.

Also, if you are looking into making a purchase, please use the code 'belovedbluebird' for 10% off! (valid until September 24th) You're welcome. ;)

Have a wonderful day!

eShakti sent me this dress in exchange for my honest review.

Springtime Daisies

After months of rain and dismal, grey skies, spring is finally making an appearance in Washington! I haven't gotten much of a chance to get out and enjoy the sun this week, due to school and play rehearsals, but I finally took a trip to the park today. It was so sunny (and it still is as I write this), and a great deal warmer than the past few months. I just love Daylight Savings Time, who doesn't enjoy the extra hours of sun?

Speaking of school, I recently was assigned what I think is the best homework assignment ever. I already love school, but my teacher took it to the next level. :) I get to 'create' my own country, including a name, laws, the population, government type, natural resources, and many other fun things. The best part? I can present it any way I choose! Of course, I chose a video, since I really enjoy film making. I am so excited to get started! I still haven't chosen a name for my country, though.

I never know what to talk about in fashion posts (I almost always resort to discussing the weather), and I thought it might be interesting to hear what you want me to talk about. I've heard a lot of people say that they like hearing about my life, so I'll try to do that more, but if there is anything else you'd like me to talk about, please don't hesitate to leave a comment and let me know. :)

- What I'm Wearing -
Dress, tights and belt // Forever 21
Oxfords // Birthday present

This week I have play rehearsal everyday except for Friday for the musical (Peter Pan) that I am in, and on Friday I am volunteering to do hair for Winnie the Pooh, another play that my local theater is performing this month.

What are your plans for the week? I'm also hoping to get out and enjoy the sun more, it is so refreshing!

Follow the Red Brick Wall

Top // Forever 21
Skirt // Storenvy
Shoes // TOMs
Sunglasses // Ross

I love this skirt so much because it is so versatile and it can go with many different outfits. However, I must admit, I am a bit disappointed about it's length. I ordered it online and it turned out being pretty short when it arrived. It makes it a bit uncomfortable (even though I wear shorts under it), but other than that it's wonderful! I am actually thinking that I will sew some lace around the bottom of the skirt to make it longer. Next time I shop for skirts/dresses though, I am going to try to make sure that they are a comfortable and more modest length. :)

Have a wonderful day!

p.s. I tried to film my Q&A video yesterday but I ended up spending the day at my friends house, and I am very busy this weekend, so I apologize that I won't be able to film my video until next week!
